Welcome to the newly launched M.S.A.D. #55 Adult and Community Education Website. As the website evolves during the remainder of this school year, we hope that you will find this site helpful to reveal all the exciting programs that are offered through the Adult Learning Center.
* You can now search for courses from our program as well as from other adult education programs across the state: Search for courses. You can also browse our courses by category if you prefer. Our website is a part of the new Maine Adult Education Portal, sponsored and managed by the Maine Adult Education Association. When you visit the new MAEA website online at http://www.maineadulted.org, you can search for courses and programs statewide to find the perfect class closest to where you work or live.
* You can find answers to important questions about our program, schedules, registering, and the adult education system by searching or browsing Frequently Asked Questions section.
* Did you know that a tutoring program is available for community members wishing to review and increase their skills and/or earn their GED diploma? Educational assistance is available for math, reading, keyboarding, and job-seeking skills with cover-letter writing and resume assembly. *
As the seasons turn from spring to summer in our community, please be sure to watch this website for the upcoming offerings that will be part of the Spring 2010 semester starting in January and running through May. Also, be watching for the 14th Annual Adult Education Graduation news.
Please continue to check back with us, and please share your feedback by contacting us. Thank you, and we hope you enjoy your new adult education website.
